BBA/ BS/ MBA/ MS Ph.D LLB/ Bsc. (Development and Economics)

(Admission requirements may vary with local campuses. Check with local campus on admission requirements) For admission to the BBA program, the candidate must have completed A levels (minimum 3 pass) / 12th grade/ Intermediate (minimum 60% marks, including first year, no supplementary) or equivalent from a recognized institution (those waiting for results can also apply). For admission to the BS Computing program, the candidate must have completed A-Level (minimum 3 pass) / Intermediate (minimum 50% marks) or equivalent from a recognized institution.candidates with mathematical background will be preferred. For admission to the BS (SS & Eco) program, the candidate must have completed A-Level (minimum 3 pass) / Intermediate (minimum 50% marks) or equivalent from a recognized institution. For admission to the BS (Media Sciences) program, the candidate must have completed A-Level (minimum 3 pass) / Intermediate (minimum 50% marks) or equivalent from a recognized institution. For admission to the MBA & MS programs, the candidates must possess a Bachelors degree with minimum 55% marks/ CGPA 2.20 from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in relevant field of study. For direct admission to the fifth year MS program, the candidate must have a minimum 60% marks (CGPA 3.00) from a HEC recognized university in the relevant field of study. An entrance test and group discussion / interview will be given to all applicants at SZABIST. For Transfer candidates from HEC recognized universities, a maximum of upto 6 transfer credits for MBA / MS and 72 transfer credits for BBA/ BS may be considered for courses having letter grade of B (80%) or above. The request must be made at the time of admission, applying for transfer. Maximum time limit to transfer courses is two years. Admission Test / Interview will be given. For Transfer candidates from other SZABIST campuses, the candidate must fulfill the admission requirement of the local Campus the candidate wish to transfer into. All courses/ grades will be transferred. A transfer fee will be applicable and Admission Test/ Interview will be given.

A candidate with a MS degree from SZABIST may be admitted into the Ph.D degree program with the approval of the Graduate Committee. A candidate with a MA / MS / MBA / M.Phil (with minimum 5 years of formal university education) from a recognized university may apply for direct admission into the Ph.D program. A candidate with a minimum 4 years relevant degree from a recognized university may also apply for direct admission into the Ph.D program through the MS route. For acceptance into the Ph.D program, the applicant must pass the Admission Test/ Interview with the SZABIST Graduate Committee. After acceptance into the Ph.D program, a Doctoral Committee consisting of the Major Advisor and two Committee Members will be constituted by the Ph.D Coordinator for the student. The Doctoral Committee, including the Major Advisor, can be changed by the Ph.D Coordinator at any time subject to their unavailability and other unforeseen events.
