Bronchology – Past, Present and Future Diagnostic Procedures 23 The specially designed system contains a filter wheel that can be set to three positions: •  White Light Bronchoscopy without filter. •  Autofluorescence Mode with Observation Filter to block the incident light. •  ALA Mode with Observation Filter. The entire procedure is performed with the KARL STORZ D-LIGHT AF System and allows observation with the naked eye, i.e. represents a direct imaging technique.
