Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) is a Chartered Institute established through Legislative Act of the Sindh Assembly and recognized and approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a degree awarding institution. SZABIST is a member of International Association of Universities (IAU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Asia University Federation (AUF), Federation of Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW) and the Association of SAARC Universities (ASU).

SZABIST requires full-time faculty in the areas of Computer Sciences, Management Sciences and Social Sciences & Economics for all campuses. 

Professor
Candidate should have Ph.D from HEC recognized institution. Candidate should also have 15 years teaching/research experience (with at least 8 years experience at the post-PhD level) in HEC recognized institution and 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in last 5 years) in internationally abstracted journals.

Associate Professor
Candidate should have Ph.D from HEC recognized institution. Candidate should also have 10 years teaching/research experience (with at least 4 years experience at the post-PhD level) in HEC recognized institution and 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in last 5 years) in internationally abstracted journals.

Assistant Professor
Candidate should have Ph.D or Master’s degree (foreign) / M Phil ( Pakistan ) from HEC recognized institution. Candidates with 3-5 years teaching experience will be given preference.

Lecturer
Candidate should have Master’s degree (foreign or Pakistan ) from HEC recognized institution. Candidates with 3-5 years teaching experience will be given preference.

SZABIST Karachi and Islamabad are strongly research oriented with a highly reputed PhD program currently having an enrollment of over 200 post-graduate students. SZABIST Larkana offers undergraduate program in Management Sciences.
