SZABIST team consisting of Mr. Ali Fayaz (English) and Tabinda Baig (Urdu) of BBA-V-D participated in "The Karachi Inter-University Bilingual Declamation Contest" held at Dawood College of Engineering and Technology on 22nd November 2008.
SZABIST secured first place and won the "Winning Trophy" by securing highest score among all  15 participating university teams . Ali Fayaz won the award of Best English Speaker by debating on the topic "War on terror is the new form of colonialism."
