SZABIST is currently in the process launching a new program on Farm Management at Larkana for which 125 acres of prime land next to the Rice Canal have been acquired. Short courses (1 to 8 weeks duration) in farm-related subjects, including, Production of Fruit, Growing of Vegetables, Ornamental Horticulture, Nursery Management, Social Forestry, Commercial Flower Production, Bee-Keeping, Soil Fertility, Disease of Plants, etc are being introduced for the farmers, agriculturists and land-owners. Dormitory facilities, in a serene rural setting, will be made available to all those who wish to avail this learning experience. This is the first time in Pakistan that such a hands-on training program is being launched for the agrarian community of Pakistan.
