The SZABIST delegation comprising Muneeba Haroon (MSSS, Class of 2009), Noor Mohammed (BBA, Class of 2008), Hussain Hasanali and Reema Dada (BBA, Class of 2009), and Osman Ansari and Zahra Anum (BBA, Class of 2011) represented Netherlands and Bahamas at the Asian International Model United Nations (AIMUN) Conference 2008, organized by the Peking University during March 13 -16, In Beijing, China.

Hussain Hasanali, Reema Dada and Noor Mohammed were awarded the ‘Outstanding Delegate Award’ in their relevant committees: the Committee on Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD/General Assembly); World Heritage Sites (UNESCO) and the Economic and Social Commission for the Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

On the social activities front, the SZABIST delegation was awarded the ‘Best Cultural Dance Performance’ and the ‘Most Involving Song Performance’ Awards.
